Just because I took your heart to pieces,
Doesn’t mean that I broke it.
I just wanted to see how it worked.
I was going to put everything back together.
And maybe I could restore it
To a state from before I even knew you
When your heart wasn’t so
Damaged,
You know.
But I need some time to see
To have a look.
I would have asked first before
I did this to you
But you wouldn’t have let me.
And well,
I just have to know.
