2001-09-15T01:28Z (today at 9:28 EST) is when I saw my first airplane in the sky since those other airplanes crashed into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. I actually saw two in the air in the night time sky , both in view at the same time. I wasn’t really worried. They looked to be too high for any collision course towards here. I’m sure I’ll set foot on an airplane again. But it was both peaceful and eery when there wasn’t any aircraft flying above. There were probably less clouds as a result but I wouldn’t have noticed. Things are slowly going back to normal in some ways and yet are about to change drastically.

I’m at the edge of my seat, as if this were some kind of movie. Except no suspension of disbelief is required. In fact, I have to be numbed by some disbelief. And if it gets crazier I may have to feel as if it’s not happening at all. I won’t actually trick my self into not believing. I’ll just leave the theatre and hang out in the lobby.
