I’m writing this just after the USA has been attacked by means of highjacked airplanes. New York City will never be the same. At least not for a long time. It must be absolutely crazy there now. I really don’t have much else to say at this time. I’m waiting to see what happens next. Last I heard, there was a 6th highjacked plane in the sky, over Virginia. It could have crashed somewhere by now, Idunno. This is very disturbing news but as I’m up here in Canada, I don’t feel all that affected. Until a plane crashes into the CN Tower or something, I feel relatively safe. All in all, things are seriously fucked. Who would’ve thunk it?

Maybe I’m a little affected. This hit a little to close to home. Literally.

I wonder if the US government was expecting anything out of the ordinary. They obviously weren’t ready. But how much did they know of this? I’m not devising any conspiracy theory. It’s just a bit odd that something of this nature could have been orchastrated in complete secrecy.

I don’t mean to be inappropriately cynical, but I imagine that network executives are trying to put together a movie-of-the-week.
